A heavy yielding, over wintering variety.
Best planted between 15th September and 15th October. If the weather is mild, it is best to plant as late as possible up to mid October, to avoid problems of bolting. If the weather is cold it is best to plant earlier. They should then be ready for harvest in June. They are a very hardy Japanese variety, with semi-globe shaped bulbs. Their skin is golden with a white flesh underneath.
Approximately 50 sets.

On arrival onion sets and shallots should be laid out to prevent sweating and sprouting. Any apparent deterioration in quality should be notified to us within 7 days of receipt of goods.
