TOADFLAX COMMON (Linaria vulgaris) P

Bold spikes of primrose yellow flowers like a miniature snapdragon. Fleshy bluish green leaves. A spreading floppy plant. Was once used as a herbal medicine to treat liver and jaundice, purgative and diuretic. Used also to treat gallstones. The flowers of toadflax can yield a yellow dye. Habitat: dry banks and sand.
