Where to Sow

Sow seed into pots or trays in a greenhouse or on a windowsill at 18-21C. Lightly cover the seed with vermiculite and keep slightly moist but not too wet.

What to do Next
Transplant seedlings into 7.5cm (3in) pots. Then once plants are large enough to handle, gradually harden off before planting outside into borders at 30 x 30cm (12x12in) spacings.

Plants will be slightly taller in the second year once established.
