Slug Control with Nematodes (50m²)
Slugs are a common garden pest that can wreak havoc on your plants, flowers, and vegetables. Slugs aren't easy to control so the best way to control is by using their natural predator.
Agralan Slug Nematodes offer a natural solution for controlling slugs in your garden without harming other wildlife or people around you! Nematodes are harmless to humans, pets, wildlife, and fish so you can use them worry free anywhere on your property including vegetable gardens, lawns and flower beds.
Simply water onto the area you wish to treat and let the nematodes get to work. The nematodes attack slugs from within their bodies and kill them before they can reproduce.
Treats up to 50m2.
When to treat
Apply to moist compost/soil when the soil temp is above 12°C using a watering can or nematode applicator.
Use regular introductions between March and October for effective control.
How to treat
It is vital to apply to moist soil as the nematodes are unable to move in dry soils.
Mix the nematodes in 1 litres of clean water, stir, dilute further to 10 litres and apply immediately using a watering can using the spout, or the can fitted with a coarse rose (2mm).
Repeat until all mixture is used up. Water again and keep the soil moist for 14 days.
The lawn is safe to use straight after application.
This item can only be delivered between April and September. If ordering during this time, the order will be despatched within a week. Orders placed after this time frame will be placed as a back order as despatched when available, the following April.
This is a live product. The unopened pack may be stored in a fridge but should be used by the best before date on pack. Do not freeze. Once opened, the entire pack contents should be used immediately.
