Aphid Control with Lacewing Larvae (Treats up to 100m2)
Aphids are found on a wide range of plants, and suck the plant sap which weakens the plant and causes the foliage to discolour and deform. Aphids produce a sticky deposit (honeydew) which turns black on plants.
Although aphids are their favourite diet, lacewing larvae will also feed on small insects such as thrips, red spider mite and mealy bugs.
Treats up to 100m2.
When to treat
Can be used inside or outside. Introduce when aphids are first seen. Use regular introductions between April and August for effective control.
May also be used for mealy bug control when temperature is above 15°C.
This item can only be delivered between April and August. If ordering during this time, the order will be despatched within a week. Orders placed after this time frame will be placed as a back order as despatched when available, the following April.
This is a live product. The unopened pack may be stored in a fridge but should be used by the best before date on pack. Do not freeze. Once opened, the entire pack contents should be used immediately.
