When to Sow Avalanche Beetroot Seeds

March to July. Germination takes up to 24 days.

Where to Sow

Sow thinly direct into the growing site 2cm deep in rows 30cm apart. Sow into a sunny position.

What to do next

Do not transplant, instead thin out the seedlings when large enough to handle to 15cm apart.

Handy Tip

Keep well drained and do not overwater, as this can cause the leaves to grow rather than the fruit! Only water when the soil is dry.
