Following an invitation from Kings Seeds Horticultural Director Andrew Tokely and Managing Director Tracy Palmer, we were pleased to have a visit on January 11th 2024 from our local MP Priti Patel. Whilst visiting, Priti Patel MP spent time discussing and understanding the problems of getting Seed into the UK, and more importantly the challenges that Kings Seeds still face getting Mail order Hobby seed packets into Northern Ireland to serve the many home gardeners of Northern Ireland, which unfortunately is still not possible since the Windsor framework deal. The Directors wish to thank Priti Patel MP for her Visit and interest in this issue and any help and support she can offer the seed industry going forward.
