WHERE TO SOW
Sow the seeds thinly in a well-prepared seed bed in shallow drills 1.5cm
(1/2”) deep in rows 45cm (17”) apart. Keep well watered.
Can be sown in modules or pots.
WHAT TO DO NEXT
Thin the seedlings as they appear to 5cm (2”) apart. When the seedlings are about 10-15cm
(4-6”) tall, transplant to the growing site 35cm-40cm (13-16”) apart. Set the young plants 1.5cm (3/4”) deeper than they were in the seed bed.
HANDY TIPS
Fertilize in early spring to encourage growth. Pick regularly to prevent all cabbages cropping at the same time.
NUTRITIONAL VALUES
Excellent source of vitamin C & B. The darkest leaves contain the most nutrients.
