WHERE TO SOW
Sow seeds thinly in pots or trays under glass at 13°C or later sowings in a seed bed outside or under cloches in shallow rows 1.5cm (3/4”) deep and 15cm (6”) apart.
WHAT TO DO NEXT
When glasshouse seedlings are about 8cm (3”) tall, prick off into trays 5cm (2”) apart. Harden off as soon as possible for planting in the growing site 45cm (17”) apart in April. Thin outdoor sowings to 10cm (4”) apart and transplant when 15cm (5”) tall.

Excellent source of vitamin C & B. The darkest leaves contain the most nutrients.
HANDY TIP
If outside condition are not good, sow seed in modular tray then just plant out the plug plants when large enough.Ideal for close planting, if short on space. |
